e-Sword a very nicely complied program that allows you
to import and use many diffrent Bible Translations,
Dictionaries, Reference Works, Commentaries etc. Click
on the button below to go to the download page of the
e-Sword website, from there you can download the main
program and then install watever modules you feel will
be of use to you!
Everybody knows the ISR Scriptures by this time - and
now the '98 eddition of this translation is available as
a module for e-Sword - to download the module
installation program, right click on the link below and
the select "save target as". Choose a location on your
computer and then download the file.

In
this translation the names of YHWH and Yahushua are printed
in the Hebrew characters. The translation is not completely
without fault but I deem it to be a very close translation
of the Hebrew/Greek writings. I remember my first thoughts
when reading through the ISR's translation: "It sound so
Hebrew!", as time passed on, I learned to read the Hebrew
text and deduce the meaning from there, but I regularly
reference "The Scriptures" when explaining to other people,
seldomly changing a word to one I believe to be more
appropriate. The ISR's
translation get two thumbs up from me!
